bulette,
One more thing. I noticed on your blog post that you mention the box being sorta flimsy. You may want to look around online for candy boxes. There's a number of places you can order blank ones from. They're much thinker. This is what Jason Vey used for his limited run of the box set for Spellcraft & Swordplay a while back. I have one and the box is really sturdy.

| I used an old boardgame box for mine. Thrift shops are full of them and most of the time they're missing half the pieces, but the boxes are as sturdy as anything and great for such projects.

Here are my digest-sized revised books created from the PDF:
Comb-bound full book and three saddle-stitched (stapled) "player's handbooks" consisting of pages 1-60. More info and bigger image at my blog._________________ Lord Kilgore was last seen entering the Lost Caverns some years ago... |

If you've got access to a long-reach stapler, it's not tough at all. And there are ways to do it without one, too. I've heard of guys punching a hole through the spine and using paper clips [as staples], for instance.
The problem with saddle-stitching LL is that 140 pages is too much. It works for the 60-page player's section, but even the remaining 80 pages in a separate LL section would be pushing it. That's one of the reasons I use the comb binding for the full book.
I don't know if a place like Staples can make a digest-sized book out of a letter-sized PDF, but if they can I may get a spiral-bound version done.
EDIT: Something else is the fact that the printing is so small. It doesn't bother me, but I'm sure it would give some people trouble._________________ Lord Kilgore was last seen entering the Lost Caverns some years ago... |

| Man that's hilarious! Talk about a good argument for keeping your original books away from the table! Labyrinth Lord doesn't mind being beat up.
