Welcome to the Lords of Lemuria forums, a place to discuss Simon Washbourne's wonderful Barbarians of Lemuria RPG. Hopefully Lords of Lemuria will provide a gathering place for discussions and exchanges of ideas on this excellent RPG.
Enjoy your stay!

I'm really enjoying BoL at the moment, and have picked up a few different games that use the system. I'm also working on a Barsoom/John Carter version of the game which is coming along really we.
Cheers.

Fantastic. Do we get to see it when you've done?

I don't see why not... it's not intended for publication, as I'm not pursuing a license with the ERB estate, but I'll be happy to share it with people who want it.
I'm also using a lot from Chris Rutkowski's Honor + Intrigue, such as the manoeuvres and such, cause I think he's done an excellent job and it fits the Barsoom genre very well.
Cheers.

I've been thinking that BoL would be excellent for doing a Sword & Planet game.
Please share what you've done.
You might also want to think about adding some material from Barbarians of the Aftermath.

Thanks Kathulos. I am indeed adding some material from BotA as well as Honor + Intrigue and a touch from Legion of Steel.
Cheers,

Just saying hello and introducing myself - I was a gamer back in the late 1970's, early 1980's - playing AD&D (yep, the original hardcover books), Traveller, Bushido, Melee & Wizard, etc.
I've been out of the gaming scene since 1985, and now my son is into it, playing Pathfinder, Warhammer Dark Heresy, and I introduced him to Stars WIthout Number.
I've been getting back into reading about the more "rules-lite" systems like Microlite20, and of course Barbarians of Lemuria. Not sure how much actual gaming I'll do, but I like to create adventures, settings, write fiction, and used to draw comics.
I look forward to learning more about BOL, and maybe will contribute some ideas here and there.
Ok, a couple quick questions - how do I add a signature and add my website URL to my profile?

I enjoy Conan and BoL, I'll try to write here a little. First off must read all you have written.
